    The infection of the global pandemic Covid-19 has started increasing again in district Sirmour, given which Deputy Commissioner Sirmour Ram Kumar Gautam has appealed to all the district residents to take necessary precautions.
    He said that since the decline in the cases of Covid in the past, people had reduced the use of masks and started coming to other districts and states, due to which there has been an increase in the cases of Kovid again, which is a matter of concern. He said that today the number of active cases of Covid-19 in the district has reached 112 and this number is increasing day by day.

    The Deputy Commissioner said that the threat of the Covid-19 epidemic is not completely over yet, so be careful. He said that for the patients of Covid-19, there is a provision of 40 beds in Civil Hospital Paonta Sahib and 30 beds in Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar Government Medical College and Hospital Nahan. Apart from this, isolation wards have been prepared in all health institutions from where COVID-19 patients will be shifted to Civil Hospital Paonta Sahib or Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar Government Medical College and Hospital Nahan.
    He also appealed to all the eligible people above the age of 18 years of the district to get a booster dose of the Covid vaccine. He said that from July 15, 2022, a booster dose is being provided free of cost by the government, which the residents of the district should take full advantage of and ensure the safety of themselves and their families from Covid infection.
