Auckland House School for Boys Hosts Spectacular Grand Carnival in Shimla

Auckland House School for Boys organised a vibrant and grand Carnival on Friday amidst great enthusiasm, fun and festive spirit on the school campus in Shimla. The colourful event witnessed overwhelming participation from students, parents, teachers and visitors, turning the campus into a lively hub of entertainment, creativity and community celebration.

The carnival was graced by Vidhupriya Chakravarty as the Chief Guest. Addressing the gathering, she highly appreciated the remarkable efforts of the school management, staff and students in organising such a well-coordinated and energetic event. She praised the students for displaying excellent teamwork, creativity, confidence and organisational abilities throughout the carnival.

The entire school campus was beautifully decorated with colourful stalls, activity zones and entertainment corners, creating a joyful festive atmosphere for visitors of all age groups. A major attraction of the carnival remained the wide variety of exciting game stalls including Dip the Coin, Pop the Tins, Ball Through the Tyre, Pass the Key, Rolling the Dice, Lucky Dip and Tambola, which drew huge crowds and kept participants engaged throughout the day.

Adding flavour and excitement to the event were multiple food stalls offering delicious delicacies such as momos, pav bhaji, golgappas, burgers, pizza, pasta, candy floss, ice cream and chaat. Children and families enthusiastically enjoyed the mouth-watering food along with music and interactive entertainment activities.

The carnival also featured modern AI games, computer-based activities, tattoo and face painting stalls, handcrafted decorative items, creative art displays and an attractive cake corner, which became favourite spots among children and visitors. The lively music and entertaining environment further enhanced the festive charm of the event and made it a memorable celebration for everyone present.

One of the special highlights of this year’s carnival was the introduction of a Kashmiri Handicraft Stall and a Scented Candles Stall. The initiative was introduced with the aim of promoting local vendors, traditional craftsmanship and handmade creative products. Visitors appreciated the school’s thoughtful effort to support local artisans and encourage indigenous handmade products while offering unique shopping experiences during the carnival.

School authorities stated that the primary objective behind organising the carnival was to promote creativity, leadership qualities, confidence, teamwork and practical learning among students beyond academics. They added that such events also help strengthen community participation and provide students with opportunities to develop social and organisational skills in a real-world environment.

The carnival concluded on a cheerful note with smiling faces, enthusiastic participation and unforgettable memories for students, parents and guests alike, making it one of the most successful and vibrant celebrations organised by the school.
