Auckland House School Boys, Shimla, continues to make remarkable strides in delivering holistic education that blends innovation with excellence. In the past week, the school witnessed two defining achievements that reflect its dynamic and future-focused approach to student development—an immersive learning collaboration with Klip VR Experiences and an impressive performance at the CISCE Zonal Shooting Championship.

As part of a pioneering educational initiative, 132 students from the school participated in 10 specially curated sessions conducted by Klip VR Experiences, India’s leading integrated VR education platform. These sessions offered a powerful reimagining of the conventional classroom by transporting students into captivating virtual environments. Through advanced virtual reality headsets and guided storytelling, students were able to walk on the surface of the moon, dive deep into oceanic trenches, journey through the human circulatory system, and explore the mysteries of ancient civilizations. These rich and dynamic experiences helped transform abstract academic content into tangible and memorable learning moments.

The sessions were skillfully led by Mr. Nitin Gupta and Mr. Hafiz Mohd Mugheerah, with the support of seven dedicated volunteers and one IT administrator, who ensured that the entire program ran seamlessly. Students were able to engage in real-time interactive learning, where complex scientific and historical concepts came alive in front of their eyes. Teachers observed increased attentiveness, greater curiosity, and a stronger grasp of subject matter following the sessions. This initiative brought out a new sense of wonder in students and deepened their interest in topics across science, biology, geography, and history.

Principal Mr. Alan Sarwar expressed that the collaboration with Klip VR is a reflection of the school’s commitment to staying ahead in educational practices. He remarked that incorporating such immersive technology is not just a trend but a necessary step in preparing students to thrive in a fast-evolving, tech-driven world. The program has laid a strong foundation for transforming traditional teaching methods into engaging, inquiry-based learning that encourages students to become active explorers of knowledge.

Alongside this educational advancement, students of Auckland House School Boys made their mark in the sporting arena with an exceptional performance at the CISCE Zonal Shooting Championship. Demonstrating discipline, focus, and sharp marksmanship, four students brought laurels to the school by securing top positions in both pistol and rifle events. Ananjay Singh secured first place in the Under-14 Pistol category, while Rudra Singh Kanwar achieved first place in the Under-17 Pistol category. Arhaan Rohta claimed first place in the Under-14 Rifle category, and Harashish earned third position in the same category.

All four students have now qualified for the CISCE Regional Shooting Championship, a testament to their unwavering commitment and the school’s consistent support in nurturing athletic talent. The success is the result of rigorous training sessions, skilled mentorship, and a strong emphasis on sports as an integral part of education. The students have trained diligently under experienced coaches at the school’s shooting range, balancing their academic responsibilities with their passion for sport.

Vice Principal Ms. Shalini Sood congratulated the winners, acknowledging their resilience and the disciplined effort that led to their success.
