Addressing the press conference, Bharatiya Janata Party’s national spokesperson and MP Lok Sabha Aparajita Sarangi said that the Bharatiya Janata Party is striving for women’s empowerment upliftment and women’s self respect , has also succeeded in this work. She said that Himachal Pradesh has secured first position in is top in the country in women labor force participation.
The Jai Ram government of Himachal Pradesh has made tireless efforts to ensure this in the state. In Himachal Pradesh, the honorarium of Anganwadi workers has been increased from Rs.4500 to Rs.9000, that of Asha works from Rs.1000 to Rs.4700 and that of sewing teachers from Rs.6300 to Rs.7950. she said that the Bharatiya Janata Party is determined to strengthen the economy of rural women. Working in this direction, our government has formed 5247 Self Help Groups. Under the “Nari ko Naman Yojana”, the fare of women in state buses has been halved. Apart from this, financial assistance of 31 thousand rupees is being provided for the marriage of girls of BPL families under Mukhyamantri Shagun Yojana.
Aparajita Sarangi took a jibe at the Congress, saying that in 1984 general elections, the Congress had won about 82 percent of the seats, while in the 2019 elections, they had to face defeat in 88 percent of the seats, it is clear that the Indian national Congress is being wiped out of the country. Congress is a visionless party and is on the verge of extinction from the whole country. She also made a scathing attack on the guarantees of Congress. she said that Congress is making false promises for women in the state which will never be fulfilled as in rajasthan . The budget to give Rs 1500 per woman is Rs 3306 annually and it is about Rs 16530 crore will be spent in five years. Congress leaders should clarify from what plan and budget this amount will be spent, because there is no clarity about the budget provision for this scheme and it is beyond reality and is just a bundle of lies for electoral gains . she asked Congress whether these schemes are being run in Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan. The promise of providing 300 units of free electricity to every household is also far from reality. Why was this scheme not implemented in the states where Congress is in power.
The plight of women in the Congress ruled state is not hidden from anyone. Rajasthan ranks first in crime against women, while in Himachal the dignity and respect of women has been ensured by BJP . During the Congress rule, the old age pension was available to the elderly aged 80 years and above, while the BJP government reduced it to 60 years. Due to this, 7 lakh 30 thousand people are getting benefitted in the state.
For the development of Himachal Pradesh, the government of double engine is indispensable. Himachal Pradesh has been given special status by the Modi government, due to which 90 percent of the expenditure on the development scheme is borne by the Center and 10 percent by the state. This has given impetus to the development of the state. The Government of Double Engine has gifted Bulk Drug Park, Medical Device Park, 6 Medical Colleges and AIIMS in Himachal. Due to which employment and business opportunities have increased in the state.
Himachal Pradesh caters to 35 percent of the pharma demand of Asia and is famous as a pharma hub on the world map due to vision of BJP and the efforts of the double engine government, Himachal has come first in both the phases in corona vaccination. Only with the government of double engine, development works can be accelerated in Himachal Pradesh, development works can be completed and the demands of the employees can be fulfilled as much as possible by this cohesion and mutual support. The women have to choose a good alternate to better their lives and it’s only BJP that can provide that and the women of himachal are intelligent to realise this and vote BJP government back .
